Introducing Daedalus Pro — A Complete Modular Resin 3D Printing Workflow System

We’re excited to share the first full announcement of Daedalus Pro, our upcoming modular ecosystem designed to simplify and automate the entire resin 3D printing workflow. From printing to washing, curing, and safe waste handling, Daedalus Pro brings every part of the process together in a single, unified, configurable system.

This ecosystem is still in development and is planned for release in Q2/Q3 2026. Today, we’re giving a full overview of what it includes, what problems it solves, and how it integrates with Athena II Pro.

A Complete Workflow Ecosystem

Daedalus Pro is built around a simple idea:

Instead of treating post-processing as an afterthought, Daedalus Pro integrates printing, washing, curing, and disposal into a connected chain of intelligent modules. Each module can be used on its own or combined with others to form a complete production line.

Module Overview

Below is an overview of each Daedalus Pro module, based on the current development plan.

Print Module

The heart of the system.

  • Custom aluminum extrusion rack

  • Holds 6× Athena II Pro printers

  • Central Power Management with UPS and power filtering

  • Integrated Ethernet network

  • Touchscreen workstation for controlling all printers

  • Unified WebUI for job scheduling, monitoring, and system-wide control

This module is designed to make multi-printer management simple, scalable, and reliable.

Work Module

A functional and durable station for manual work:

  • Stainless steel surface

  • Integrated drawers for tools and accessories

  • Ideal for model removal, support cleanup, and workflow staging

Wash 2 — Two-Stage Automatic Wash Module

A dual-chamber washing system that automates the cleaning process:

  • Independent wash chambers (Stage 1 & Stage 2)

  • Automatic lifting mechanism

  • Mechanical stirring/agitation in both chambers

  • Filtration system to extend solvent life

  • Repeatable, programmable cleaning cycles

Wash U — Ultrasonic Wash Module

For applications requiring maximum detail and cleanliness.

  • High-performance ultrasonic cleaning

  • Touchscreen control

  • Integrated networking with the Print Module

  • Automatic wash parameters based on selected resin or geometry

Clean Station

A dedicated module for drying and resin waste curing:

  • Compressed air system for quick drying

  • UV chamber for curing resin on tools, rags, supports or failed prints

  • Ensures safe disposal by fully curing all contaminated materials

Cure 2 — Dual-Chamber Curing Module

High-throughput curing made simple.

  • Two independent UV curing chambers

  • Integrated turntables

  • Adjustable UV power, curing time, and chamber temperature

  • Connected to the Print Module for automatic preset loading

Cure N — Nitrogen-Enabled Curing Module

For engineering applications requiring elevated curing control:

  • Single large curing chamber

  • Optional N₂ gas integration

  • Heating control for material optimization

  • Excellent for engineering resins requiring oxygen-free curing

Dispose LQ — Safe Liquid Waste Disposal Module

A responsible approach to resin waste:

  • Dedicated chamber for waste resin and cleaning liquids

  • Built-in UV safety curing for hazardous materials

  • Reduces user exposure and environmental impact

Integration With Athena II Pro

Daedalus Pro is designed to work hand-in-hand with the Athena II Pro printer.

Integrated features include:

  • Automatic wash settings sent to Wash 2 or Wash U

  • Automatic curing presets sent to Cure 2 or Cure N

  • Central job scheduling and monitoring

  • Shared power management

  • Unified networking and data logging

  • Reduced setup time for high-volume workflows

Together, Athena II Pro and Daedalus Pro form a true resin production environment.
