Introducing Athena II Pro — The Next Evolution in Professional Resin 3D Printing

Today, we’re excited to share a first look at a major step forward in our product line: Athena II Pro, our next-generation professional and industrial resin 3D printer. Built on the proven foundation of the Athena II platform, the Pro model takes everything users love — accuracy, reliability, modularity — and elevates it into a machine designed for business, production, and long-term operational stability.

While Athena II Pro is still in development and is expected to launch in Q2/Q3 2026, we’re ready to share our vision of what this new system delivers.

Athena II Pro is engineered for environments where downtime has a direct cost. Every element of the design — from the new light source to the thermal systems and the upgraded electronics — is focused on delivering consistent, repeatable results, day in and day out.

Compared to Athena II, the Pro model features improvements in structural rigidity, thermal stability, serviceability, and network management. It is built to be the centerpiece of a print farm, a laboratory, or a production facility requiring dependable performance.

And yes — Athena II Pro is being designed with full industrial certifications in mind.

A New High-Uniformity Zone Light Source

Light uniformity directly affects part accuracy and repeatability. Athena II Pro introduces our next-generation 91 zone high-uniformity exposure engine, available in both 405 nm and 385 nm wavelengths.

This system is specifically optimized to maintain exposure consistency across the entire build plate, even during long production cycles. The result is improved accuracy, smoother surfaces, and better inter-layer consistency on large, dense, or complex prints.

Display Options: 8K or 16K, Both with Yellow Polarizers

Athena II Pro will support two premium display options:

  • 10.3" 8K Yellow Polarizer LCD

  • 9.6" 16K 8-bit Yellow Polarizer LCD

The yellow polarizer ensures excellent compatibility with both 385 nm and 405 nm systems and offers improved contrast and transmission for extremely fine detail.

Athena II Pro is designed to fit seamlessly into the upcoming Daedalus Pro ecosystem — our automated modular environment for resin printing, washing, curing, and waste handling.

Through network integration and shared system architecture, Athena II Pro will communicate directly with post-processing modules, enabling:

  • automatic wash settings based on resin type

  • automatic cure presets

  • centralized job scheduling and monitoring

  • unified reporting and uptime tracking

It is a printer built to be part of a complete workflow.
