Athena II - 385nm Light Source Module (Pre-Order)
385nm UV Light Source Module
Compatible only with Athena II printers using the 16K Yellow Polarizer LCD
The 385nm UV Light Source Module is designed for users who want tighter optical control, cleaner curing, and expanded material capability from their Athena II printer. Compared to a standard 405nm light source, the shorter 385nm wavelength helps reduce light bleed and improve curing precision, making it especially well suited for high-detail and specialty resin applications.
Important: This module is only compatible with Athena II printers equipped with the 16K Yellow Polarizer LCD. It is also not compatible with many lower-cost consumer resins and can be more difficult to calibrate than a 405nm light source. Only purchase this module if you are using a resin specifically designed for 385nm exposure. Please contact us before ordering to confirm compatibility.
This module is best suited for users printing with 385nm-compatible dental, jewelry, castable, engineering, clear, and other specialty resins that benefit from more controlled exposure.

Designed for Controlled, High-Detail Printing
The shorter 385nm wavelength allows for more controlled curing, which can improve feature sharpness and reduce unwanted light spread in demanding applications. This is especially useful for prints with fine internal channels, micro-features, sharp edges, and highly detailed surfaces.
Because 385nm systems require compatible materials and more careful calibration, this upgrade is intended for users with specific application needs rather than general-purpose consumer resin printing.
